The Banach NAWA Scholarship Programme for Master's degree in Poland is now open!
Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange announced a call for applications for participation in the Banach NAWA Scholarship Programme for studies or preparatory course from the winter semester 2026/27.
The programme aims at supporting the socio-economic development of developing countries by raising the level of education and professional qualifications of citizens of countries eligible to participate in the programme by offering scholarships for undertaking second-cycle studies in Poland. The programme is a joint initiative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange, implemented as part of the Polish development cooperation programme.
Scholarship recipients will have a chance to pursue Master’s studies conducted in Polish or English with full support:
- monthly scholarship of PLN 2,500
- tuition-free studies at public universities
- travel allowance (PLN 2,500)
- studies in Polish or English
- Polish language and culture course (English-track)

Application deadline is by May 8, 2026 (3:00 p.m. CEST) or until the application limit is reached, meaning until 300 applications are submitted in each of country groups no. 1-3 and 200 applications in the group no. 4 (the call will be closed after the above deadline or earlier for a given group of countries if the above-mentioned number of applications is submitted).
In 2026/2027 edition, there are 36 eligible countries:
Group 1: Albania, Argentina, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Kosovo, Mexico, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Peru, Serbia, Ukraine;
Group 2: Armenia, Georgia, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Iran, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Uzbekistan, Vietnam;
Group 3: Angola, Jordan, Kenya, Lebanon, Palestine, Rwanda, Senegal, Tanzania, Tunisia;
Group 4: Azerbaijan, Nigeria.

The recruitment results will be announced by July 31, 2026.
