A delegation from Shandong Agricultural University visits PULS

07.07.2026

On June 26, 2026, Poznań University of Life Sciences hosted a six-member delegation from Shandong Agricultural University (SDAU) in China – one of the university’s partner institutions. The visit marked the next step in developing scientific and academic cooperation between the two institutions.

For several years, PULS has been collaborating with Shandong Agricultural University under a cooperation agreement. Our university is also a member of the China–Central and Eastern European Countries Modern Agricultural Science and Education Innovation Consortium, established by SDAU, whose goal is to develop scientific and academic cooperation between universities in China, and Central and Eastern Europe. An additional impetus for strengthening these relations is the application submitted by PULS in February 2026 for funding to support student and staff mobility under the Erasmus+ KA171 program, which involves cooperation with a partner university in China (the project is currently under review).

The delegation was led by prof. Zhou Yuxi – Vice President for International Cooperation and Dean of the School of Economics and Management at Shandong Agricultural University. During the meeting, the parties discussed priority areas for further cooperation, focusing primarily on the possibility of launching bachelor’s and master’s degree programs under a dual-degree format in the fields of Agronomy, Horticulture, and Agricultural Economics and Management.

The discussions also focused on the development of joint research projects, the exchange of researchers, the organization of research internships and guest lectures. Both sides emphasized the importance of internationalizing education and research, and expressed their willingness to further deepen their cooperation.
