Scientific Conference: "The Polish Countryside – A Vision for Renewal and Development"
At an event such as the European Congress on Rural Renewal and Development, a scientific perspective on rural development is essential.
From the perspective of various scientific disciplines—including sociology, geography, economics, demography, agriculture, climate science, and law—distinguished speakers from leading research institutions across the country will discuss rural development.
The conference titled "The Polish Countryside – A Vision for Renewal and Development" focuses on issues related to the economy and economic conditions of rural areas, as well as matters concerning rural communities, the environment, and rural space. The thematic scope of the conference is broad, reflecting the wide range of factors that influence local development. Therefore, the conference will feature presentations addressing topics such as innovation in agriculture, rural depopulation, zero-emission energy, cultural heritage, demographic trends, nature and climate protection, and changes in the spatial structure of villages.
The conference spans two days: May 9 and 10, 2025.
